I was thinking maybe having a set number of like kunai, shuriken, paper bombs, etc a character can have at the start of each battle to make them more tatical for Genins. In the one battle I participated in we use Kunai with paper bombs probably twice every post, which I think may have been un-realistic.
If there were certain amounts you started with (maybe with the amount increasing with rank) it would make Genin battles be a bit more tactical.

It probably wouldnt much affect higher ranking characters as they mostly use ninjutsu.

Hm... I don't think this is a bad idea. Because you're right, in a lot of battles, it's like they just generate the kunai from thin air, because they have so much. And if they were to go over the limit, they could go slower. E.g. Limit is 10. Someone has 15. So they could be considered slower than someone under the limit until they throw enough of the item. But whether the speed thing goes through or not (which I don't think it will lol), I think there should definately be a limit. Nice idea ^^.

Thanks. But it may be hard to come up with all the different supplies nin use.
The ones that come to mind however are:
Kunai
Shuriken
Paper bombs
Flash bombs
Smoke bombs
Wires
Chains
Scrolls

And thats bout all I can think of now.

I don't like this idea, and I think it has been suggested before. I don't think a restriction on kunais and other ninja tools is necessary. =/

Just thought it might be good to have a set amount people of the same rank would automatically have the same number.

If you'd like to see us just state how many, thats fine too. (I'll go with w/e you say, you guys scare me a little lol)

Yeah. Besides, it's not likely that someone is going to say "I throw 100 kunai at you and 30 paper bombs" in battle =/
And they aren't used often anyway.

Just like Bianca says, just state how many you have at the beginning of the battle.

Kunais and other ninja tools (for me) don't contribute to the battle that much, anyway. =/

I also think that stating how many weapons you have at the beginning of the battle is the best suggestion.
