Battlefield 4 pre-orders went live less than a week ago, and already the game is the most pre-ordered title on GameStop, the largest games retailer in the world. The Xbox 360 version ranks as the most pre-ordered game, while the PS3 version is the runner up.
So far Battlefield 4 is officially coming only to the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, but many suspect that the game will find its way to next-gen platforms as well. Just yesterday, a GameStop email revealed that Battlefield 4 would in fact be released on next-gen platforms.
Those who pre-order Battlefield 4 will receive several extras. The biggest of which is an upcoming DLC called “Drone Strike Expansion Pack“. EA offers a $70 Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the aforementioned DLC, access to the upcoming beta, and other in-game items.
Meanwhile, retailers such as GameStop and Walmart have their own offerings. GameStop (and EB Games) will give you a set of real-world dog tags, while Walmart will throw in a free copy of BF3 with your Battlefield 4 pre-order.
