Oh, god... again? You're honestly giving Sakura fans a bad name, Femme. It's like you're trying to rub it in and get a rise from the Hinata fans. Now this thread is nothing more than firing off manga scans of each character's fails.
It boils down to will vs love, and from there on it's a matter of personal preference. There's no way you can say that Sakura has the better spirit, since if there's one thing you can give Hinata, it's that her love is undeniable and absolute. Thus, i'd say that they are actually equal in that sense.
Sasuke would've probably murdered Sakura if she slapped him, even if the slap was with good intentions. It's one thing dealing with the long-established, ever-forgiving Jesus of the series, who called the murderer of his parents and potential world-ender the coolest guy, it's completely different dealing with a former psychopath that only recently stopped wanting to destroy a village and slaughter innocents.
The ''strong woman'' approach is exactly the opposite of what would work on Sasuke.

I actually like Hinata. my opinion was effected when people started to compare her to Sakura, can turn a fanfic rivalry into a cannon thing.
So Naruto needs to stand up for Sakura to Sasuke, Great relationship. Sakura knows her role.
