It wont be too long, just long enough so the fights wont be tat boring and the higher rank u r the more skill ull need so that u would win. Ull need to be able to heal, defend and attack at kage level.

It wont be 10 minutes and even if it was that ten minutes would go by quickly and be fun.

You're not getting what I'm saying on the posts though. I'm using a mathmatical equation so it will be easier to work with later on (it also evenly distributes the ranks).
Genin = a;
Sanin = b;
Chunin = a * 2;
Jounin & Anbu = ( Chunin - b ) / 2;
Kage = Genin + Sanin + Chunin + Jounin + Anbu;
