Ok so I want you come up with two valid defense's to this jutsu. All you need to do is post the jutsu you choose then under each one if you put an explanation as to why it is a good defense.

I can also use summoning jutsu to summon a Toad using my Jiraiya bio and land on it and then escape. The toad can also escape by releasing the summoning jutsu. Lol its no problem. The first jutsu was a good choice as it will make you air bourne and effectivly avoid the attack. Remember that you are vulnerable while in the air though.
The second jutsu...I would say would have killed yourself lol. In RP we obviously assume that you would use it in a way that wouldnt hurt you but there are alot of other (better) Earth jutsu that can do the same thing but are classed as "supplementry" rather then the this one as its an "offensive" jutsu. People can sometimes argue the toss if you used that in that manner (those who take the RP too seriously).
Another defence would be to send raiton into the ground to disrupt the earth chakra forming the swamp. But you would need to give a valid explanation to how you know the ground is changing, "start to sink" etc.

Well...yes? Your summon would be trapped so it is an overly expensive (chakra cost) way of countering this attack. You could summon a bird and fly away though

Or if unsuccessful I think sound based genjutsu is the ideal option to counter this by confronting the opponent as sound based genjutsu travels quite long distance, can be used even if enemy is hidden & the enemy wont know when it will hit or will be under genjutsu by the time they realize it...
