Base Sharingan nerfed?

Mangekyo and Eternal Mangekyo retain the abilities of base Sharingan, while also offering more power than base. Why use the weaker base form when you can use the superior EMS form?

Well I might have just completely missed the moments where jutsus were copied and moves were predicted with EMS and MS.

Copying moves became pointless when people were only using fodder jutsu or super special kekkei genkai that can't be copied.

Edo Madara was running around with base Sharingan with the Allied Forces.

agreed, sharingan in part 1 was rare and omg wow this is so cool
gaiden makes it look like its practically useless in 3tomoe or shins MS
