So how come in the past when people have been saying that the Rasengan is blue, people didn't correct them and say that it was yellow?

They did most of the time. People still say a lot of false things but no one wants to go around to keep correcting them.

F*ck, no idea Rasengan is yellow. Anime messes up all the colorings. Itachi's Susano'o is also yellow, not red. Sasuke's Susano'o is more blue than purple, Kisame's skin is more greenish than blue, Kabuto's WHITE Rage should be WHITE, not RED, etc.

It was infused with a small amounts of the kyuubi's chakra.

Judging based on the Colour, Most of the rasengan was based of Naruto's chakra and not the kyuubi's, Because to my understanding if the kyuubi's chakra was dominant in that rasengan it would of been red, Not yellow.

Base rasengan is Naruto using his own chakra to form the rasengan, and nothing else. No biju chakra, no rikudo chakra, no senutsu.. strictly his.

Kurama's chakra amplifies the rasengan, making it a higher form than "base".​

All Amaterasu was in this instance was adding more chakra. Having an extra element doesn't make a jutsu stronger than another. This logic only applies when there is a discrepancy in the elements (Like Fuuton > Raiton). Plus, as it has been shown in the manga, that wasn't a normal Rasengan. Kurama gave Naruto the last of his chakra and it was also Naruto's chakra as well. This clash was similar to the original VoTE clash, with Vermillion Rasengan (Kurama enhanced Rasengan) against Sasuke's Curse Mark enhanced Chidori. But instead of Senjutsu, Sasuke amplified the amount of chakra with Kagutschi and Naruto boosted his with more of Kurama's chakra and his now more naturally powerful chakra.

Mangapanda translation states that the chakra Sasuke stole was molded specifically for Naruto.. meaning he couldn't of use it for an attack.

That's Sasuke before absorbing kurama's chakra. As you can see, he doesnt have enough chakra to maintain his sharingan let alone use MS jutsus.
Sasuke fans are getting desperate, denying plain manga facts.
edit: I just checked the mangapanda translation. Surprise surprise Kurama never said or implied he molded that chakra specifically for Naruto and therefore Sasuke can't use it. Getting rather desperated aren't you?
