that is your opinion, and what do you have to back it up? if you find me another chuunin level shinobi who can take on and defeat an s-rank criminal, i'm all ears.
naruto in base has defeating kabuto,kakuzu and deva path as his feats.
the only one who even gets near that is shikamaru, and he had knowledge and preparation time.
sakura is 3rd as she helped chiyo help sasori kill himself.
his feats are definitely jounin level.
as to skills, he has 1 s-rank, and 3 a-rank techniques, top tier stamina, good battle intelligence and fair speed and taijutsu. his genjutsu counter should be adequate by now, him not breaking out of itachi's is only to be expected, but he's an exception.
Kabuto would of Killed naruto if not for Tsunade, Kabuto was only unable to move, while Naruto was Dying. Also i find it Laughable that a Kid (naruto) was able to Hold an Adult (Kabuto) in Place with One hand, while Kabuto had one Free hand yet Did nothing to stop naruto's rasengan.
Plot no Jutsu
kakuzu was Missing one Heart, and Naruto only Joined in after a Long Fight with kakashi. A Fresh kakuzu would Dominate Base naruto
Naruto only Fought Deva path in base after Deva path had, Destroyed the Leaf, Beaten Leaf shinobi, Fought and Beat Sm naruto, Fought Naruto in 6-9tails Form, then Sm naruto Again, All befor naruto even started fighting in Base.
A Fresh Deva path would obliterate Naruto.

Why are people saying b ase naruto defeated kakuzu.
Not only was kakuzu half dead, he still goit naruto and if it wasnt for kakashi and yamato, who knows what wouldve happened;

about kabuto, true. but it still counts.
kakuzu was missing two hearts, but he was still relatively fresh. he wasn't fazed at all at being outnumbered 8:1, he's even more of a chakra monster than naruto is. that's why he kept spamming combined attacks. rasenshuriken would have destroyed 5 hearts as well as 3.
deva path was still able to use shinra tensei and bansho tenin again base naruto. what would a fresh deva path have been able to do exactly? excluding chibaku tensei, those are it's abilities. and nagato kept it out of range so naruto would be able to kill it off, using a bigger shinra tensei would only have worked against him.
kakuzu was not only nowhere near half dead, he wasn't even fazed at being outnumbered 8:1. and you're forgetting that naruto was also wiped out when he fought, a fact that kakuzu commented on in fact. plus, you're conveniently omitting that before kakashi had to bail naruto out, kakuzu was basically 5 cm and a second away from dying, something which would not have happened if, as you know, naruto was wiped out.
plus, this is not about naruto>kakuzu, but obviously naruto is of a certain level to be able to fight and defeat these s-rank criminals. it's like saying sasuke would be chuunin level without his sharingan. a completely stupid assertion.

I believe you said how many people can defeat an s-rank ninja, by this you were clearly talking about kakuzu. Whether fazed or not even after getting 2 hearts destroyed already but also using up most of his chakra, he still wouldve defeated base naruto, saying other wise is nonsense.
If we are talking talking base naruto, the only akatsuki he can defeat is hidan

Take any Jonin in the village, Naruto will beat any 1 of them with nothing but clones, the transformation jutsu and either beating them into submission, or rasengan, Naruto's use of the clones alone makes him jonin
Base Naruto is jonin level because of Rasenshuriken, he can beat Hidan, Kakuzu but thats about it. The rest are too long range for his base attacks and Itachi's genjutsu, he's shown not to be able to avoid, he could stand a chance against more and probably win if he actively used toads but he doesnt so he's higher than Neji, Asuma, Kurenai, but not up to Kakashi and Guy in base.

I have to disagree to a certain point....Naruto wasn't in Sage mode when he blitzed Sakura away from Sasuke....he was in Sage mode only to seek Kakashi's chakra....if you noticed when they looked at each other....his eyes were normal and not frogged....Everyone can argue what level Naruto is now...by Ninja standard, he's still a Genin...in a fight with Sage mode alone, (and we've all seen that Naruto has come a long way from the reckless kid he used to be) he can easily put a few of the present Kages in their place....quite a few of you might disagree....but his improvements are well beyond of everyones expectations....

I know and understand your pain but I agree that Kankuro you be the best for that one. I know it was just a filler, but look at the anime where Konohamaru went up against Temari.....had he connected, she'd been done. She was still shouting out her nin-art when he was practically in her face with that Rasengan....since Naruto is better at using Shadow clones...he's close in on her too fast and too quick.
Kankuro on the other hand is a trap-master.....He's the Shino of the Sand village....his traps lead into other traps...and if you take him lightly...well you get the idea....
Naruto just by a little beyond jounin level. He knows 2 jutsu's extremely useful and powerful ( bushin's and a wide variation of rasengans ) also he started to use his brain more.
Now let's think about Neji, Temari, etc if u take away from them their techniques; i mean leave Neji's byakugan but take away his attacks on chakra levels, and take Temari's scrolls away from her. She & He will definitly lose. So they are either at the same jounin base level or naruto is beyond it. The only one beyond Naruto's base level from my pov is the bug user ( forgot his name ).
Second of all why would you bother making such a thread when we all know that if u would have KM or SM powers u will never come back to base level in a fight. No offense but useless thread.
Oh and i forgot PLOT NO JUTSU is his most powerful non charka consumable move he has. So i'd like to see when Naruto uses it. "After a 5 days fight between Naruto & Sasuke, the last one cut Naruto's legs and he can't do anything to escape from death. A few seconds later: *And So Sasuke died*" PLOT NO JUTSU FTW
