Base naruto can't be better than 3Tomoe Sasuke, especially when 3 tomoe can predict movements and the accuracy of his techniques. But I do agree that the torii seal was able to keep a separate peace of the kyuubi's chakra so he wasn't getting aid from the kyuubi itself at one point.

No, Shadow clones barely make up for the difference there is in taijutsu.

Lol. I said they were both severely weakened, I didn't say they were equally weakened(in their different qualities eg speed, chakra, that kind of stuff). Besides just because it happened at VOTE2 doesn't mean it would happen if they were both healthy. After all Naruto tripped on a rock at VOTE2. lol. Also, Naruto had some Kurama help, not really sure if that counts as base mode.

Sasuke's speed doesn't really change. So if they were both healthy, Naruto would need at the very least SM to sense base sasuke's movements(reacting to them is a completely different story).



Sasuke = Naruto. Base Sasuke >>>> Base Naruto. Their powers don't scale up at the same rate. Base Sasuke would slaughter base Naruto.

And like I said to Indra. Just because it happened in VOTE2 doesn't mean it will always happen when rested. both were severely weakened. Naruto could only make 3 clones and a rasengan at that point. And sasuke couldn't even hold a chidori.
