Exactly how could he solo? He doesn't have many advantages over anyone other than chakra reserves and decent battle smarts.

Neji's rotation was destroyed by a PTS KN0 hit, so an Odama Rasengan should do much more for him here. Asuma was also shown to be overwhelmed before, and Naruto has just that on his side.

It might not be easy, but Naruto has gotten himself out of tough situations several times in the past. Plus, he still has Gamabunta and several other summons to use in battle.

It wasn't destroyed as the rotation was incomplete and therefore canceled by KN0 naruto's charge, and they were both blown back by the force. Odama rasengan probably wouldn't completely break through either, but that is speculation for now.

Base Naruto means he can't use any of the fox's chakra. Just his own base abilities. So technically, yes, he can be ended by 8 trigrams 64 palms.
