Sasuke wins this mid-difference most. His CS2 has wings, so Swamp is out of the question, he's much faster - opps - than Jiraiya, has far better strike rate and has a larger skill repertoire. CS2 grants him durability for all of Jiraiya's hair based attacks. Manda is canonically more powerful than Gamabunta and Katsuya combined, alone, Bunta is swallowed whole - as he was almost in canon had Tsunade not saved him.

Close-ranged combat would be suicide for Jiraiya because of Genjutsu, and Raiton variants at Sasuke's disposal.

Not really hating on him, I don't always argue that Sasuke loses. How does his Katon over power Jiraiya's? Even though his clan specializes in it, Jiraiya can make large amounts of Katon that can easily overpower foes. Chidori Spear is countered by using his hair as a shield. Spear is weaker than the regular form.

Summonings won't really change the fight, Jman can use dark swamp like he did in part 1 to Oro's summons.

Kirin is what will give Hebi Sasuke the victory though.

His Katon attacks are not overpowering Sasuke's, given that his Dragon Katon has three heads and two of them tore through the damn ceiling of the hideout. His Great Fire Ball attack ate Itachi's that he had to resort to Amaterasu. Sasuke has superior Katon attacks.

I am pretty sure jiriaya's katons have a larger AOE. Not that it matters since sasuke can simply use aoda/manda to tank it. Or use his hawk to evade it.
