Uchiha sharingan can predict movements, cause genjutsu, copy jutsu, and see through many perception deterring jutsu whereas the byakugan only allows enhanced vision, x-ray vision, 360 degree vision (excluding the blind spot). 3 tomoe sharingan>>>byakugan base uchihas r notorious fire style users and thus have access to a variety of mid-long ranged attacks and are often well versed in weaponry whereas the hyuuga have never been shown to perform ninjutsu only gentle fist style taijutsu which is a close-mid range (if u include the air palm) style therefore with the fireball jutsu alone the uchiha would have the upper hand stince iits a mid-long range jutsu and the hyuuga generally require close range combat
