i never really like naruto's outfits, so i always liked it when he had a change of attire. i wish he would have kept the cloak he got from the frogs at least. but kishi made up for it with him gaining one in BM. i see what you are saying though, you don't want to be in some flashy glowing aura of chakra. i happen to like those looks as it makes naruto stand out even more from the crowd. but to each his own i guess.

I agree I think They should keep their base forms but just with new clothes/attires like here for example:

Of course Naruto would look same as above with crossed pupils and Sasuke either with EMS or Rinnegan.

I admit that as Dragon ball manga fan I would don't mind a bit of aura/flaring chakra around them, but no for chakra cloaks in any shape for form.

If they can fight at full power without changing outfits then it's okay i guess, otherwise no. I still like Naruto's BM cloak the most, though.
