I love BM Naruto better than all other naruto forms. Considering that Ashura used BM and Indra used PS, I think it would only be fitting for Naruto and Sasuke do the same but on a whole other scale.

The full power of BM grants the cloak, it's not something Naruto decides. The chakra radiating off of him is protecting him, it's not to look badass or something. If Naruto doesn't have the cloak, he isn't using his full power, therefore holding back against Sasuke which would get him killed seeing as they are both equal at the moment, Kishimoto wouldn't make that mistake.

Then why did Kishi give those flashy attires in the first place just to get rid of them later?

He's been consistent with it. Naruto changed his attire when he gained Chakra Mode, and instead of keeping the same form, Bijuu Mode granted him a completely different look.

He's not going to give Naruto Bijuu Mode without it since the base properties of that form have already been established.


When Obito became jinchuriki, his attire changed.

When Madara became jinchuriki, his attire changed.

There's never really a phase of power where one keeps his base form. Even Guy's appearance changed in 8 gates.

KCM and BM always looked like a cheap gimmick to me. I don't really care how naruto fights at this point because it's pretty standard at this stage in the manga that he fights any strong opponent with some form of kyuubi cloak surrounding him. There's only ever been 1 fight(kakuzu) where he didn't rely on a kyuubi cloak.
