Kakashi has a stronger version of Chidori, the S-ranked Raikiri, and he has his own plethora of variants stemming from Raikiri. He has shown more than enough expertise with Raiton for him to be able to feasibly control lightning.

As I've said, he has created water dragons from an existing source and created dog walls from an existing source. Those are not his main elements, and he has not shown outstanding mastery in either of them. Why wouldn't he be able to control an existing lightning source when he has shown excellent mastery in Raiton, not to mention it is his main affinity?

But that is simply ****ing Doton jutsu and Suiton jutsu, i really don't know how to explain this in a complex way, its totally different from Kirin

No, its really not. In theory, its the same exact thing concept.

There are two methods to use jutsu - one is using an existing source, while the other is to pump out the chakra and generate the element yourself. Kakashi's Doton wall used an existing source - the ground. Hiruzen's Doton wall used his own chakra (he spat it out of his mouth). Kakashi's water dragon used an existing source - the river. Kisame's water dome used his own chakra (he spat it out of his mouth). Sasuke's Kirin used an existing source - a thundestorm. Sasuke's Chidori used his own chakra (he generated it from his arm).

All it requires a point to gather the lightning energy, thus why Sasuke needed to use Chidori for the lightning to initially contact his arm before he could start controlling it. Kakashi is capable of a better version of the same technique, thus I fail to see why the option isn't feasible if a thunderstorm already exists.

If sasuke tries to use kirin he gets murdered in the intent... Kakashi wouldn't be out of chakra as fast as itachi was so sasuke wouldn't have that prep time...

Anyways... I think that by current feats war arc Kakashi has proved that while being in 3 tomoe sharingan, he is superior to sasuke... and lets not forget he has good summons to.. i mean the don't have the raw power of aoda but they're more usefull in diferent situations...

Also kakashi's new genjutsu feats are pretty impresive
