There is a limit on how much surface area his barrier can cover, not how long they can be up. Limits on duration was never stated. And the amount of surface area he created with those stairs..... it was a heck of alot. way more than enough to protect himself, and have an attacking barrier as well. If the poisen cannot erode the barrier, and Barto lives up to his ability, Barto is fine.


If anything, Magellan is the one with a time limit due to his cronic diareha, a result from overuse of his fruit.



Magellan may end up crapping his pants as a result of fighting Barto.
