This, the bigger the object the more chakra that would be consumed. That is what I believe anyway, so to that combined one I think he still would of died because it would use up all his chakra.

Size is indeed a factor, but not the greatest factor when using Kamui. Speed and the amount of targets are the biggest factors

Kakashi teleporting that isnt happening, what he said shouldnt be taken seriously. If was out of desperation. Second of all kakashi's stamina hasnt increased but rather he has increased his chakra control, this is evident in his ability to use more techniques than before but also has shown more genjutsu feat although still outside battle feat. Kakashi chakra has remained constant at a 3 in all 3 databooks therefore its far fetched to say his chakra levels has suddenly increased.

Anyway if you look at the size of the tbb in relation to the tailed beasts, it makes them look like insects and i need not tell you how big those tailed beasts are, therefore the size of the tbb mustve been something else.

I dont believe kakashi can kamui a human, let alone a tailed beast. Let alone a tbb that makes tailed beasts look like insects.

Whether full chakra or low chakra he will not only be able to kamui it, he would surely die from chakra exhaustion

Whilst you might be right on some things... @Bold is just not correct. He was actually able to hit Deidara with it, and he hadn't fully mastered Kamui back then.

Yup, that's basically what I'm saying. But the way you described it sounds much better
ok, now that i grasp what youre trying to say, i believe that youre incorrect

i say this because i think the size of the object that kamui is being used against as well as the speed at which kamui is being used are both proportional to the amount of chakra thats used, and im judging that based off of how kakashi reacts after he used kamui in each instance

diedaras arm
diedaras clone explosion
ms susanoo arrow
bansho tennin nail
asura path missle

now if the chakra consumption for kamui was relatively constant rather than based off of the size of the object being kamui'd then kakashi would have died of chakra exhaustion by using the tech against pains bansho nail at the speed he had to use it , he already endured a lengthy fight with pain and used raikiri/variations several times but could still crank out 2 kamuis, even though when he fought diedara he used kamui twice and collapsed, that leads me to believe the size of what is being kamui'd along with the speed that the tech is used directly relates to how much chakra he must use to accomplish it

Well, I believe Kamui is now faster in absorbing an whole object. The focused point of Kamui is like a blackhole, it sucks in the surrounding. If Kakashi would've focused on Deidara's torso, then Deidara would've been a goner, even if that was Kakashi's early days with having Kamui. Because if Kakashi have done that then Deidara's whole torso would've been teleported, thus leaving only Deidara's head and limbs. That would've taken the same amount of chakra as teleporting Deidara's arm. So the focus point of Kamui is VITAL

granted, but thats not whats in question, the same amount of material would have been teleported, meaning for the chakra he used to teleport diedara's arm, it would teleport the same amount of mass from his torso, thats an aim issue if anything

whats in question is if the amount of mass being teleported would increase the chakra consumption of the technique[weve already accepted that the speed of the tech's use affects chakra consumption], i think it would, which is why i doubt he could kamui a tbb of that scale, but given how the explosion of diedara's clone reacted to kamui he might be able to get one normal sized tbb

Since all TBB goes into the same direction, all Kakashi had to do is to open the space barrier where the TBB will come in the same point.

Why would Kishi put that and not make it so he could stop it?

All the TBB goes in the same direction,Kakashi had just top open the space barrier in the place where the TBB will join.If Naruto didn't intervere he'd it but then he'd not be able to fight since he was almost out of chakra after almost 2 days of fight.

WOW, good thinking. But I'm not sure if he can use Kamui without focusing on a target. I don't know if it'll work by focusing on a blank space:confused:

That's really what I meant with my theory. Kakashi creates a black hole exactly where the TBBs aimed, which happened to be at him. Making it easier to kamui them if they were all comming striaght at him and Gai.
