Babidi's Mind control is a spell that can cast over any being in an effort to take control of their mind. No character can resist his mind rape if you have evil in your heart. His mind rape powers are so strong that he was able to control Vegeta and Demon King Dabura.

He also has unrivaled magic that is so powerful. His Haretsu Majyutsu spell can destroy the body of the chosen target at will. The wizard also has a spell called Demon Eye where he summons a slimy substance capable of exploding a target. No character can negate his magic.

Babidi thought that Demon King Dabura could handle Gohan so that's why he didn't mind control him. His powers are limited. If his powers weren't limited he would be the most powerful wizard in fiction. He would make the strongest characters bodies pop and explode at will. Physically, Babidi is weak so that's why he always depends on his magic. If he's far away and behind a crystal ball then you're doomed.

Sort of a silly thing to say tbh, seeing as though the term "fictional" is so insanely board. There are fictional gods who can mind control someone who's in a different multi-verse let alone universe.

No he's not the strongest, there are telepaths who can mind control entire planets, species, fleets, across universes etc. Mind control to such an extent.....For instance, xavier can make minutes seem like days or years in someones mind, read their every thought in seconds, and can mind rape planets, jean grey created a universe within her mind, they can snap your mind, or shut it down, you're dead right there. I can name plenty of wizards, heck loads from bastard as well that have shown superior capabilites.

Which is funny since he never attempted that to any dbz character, when he could've, he had the chance to do it to goku, but he did not. Heck he never even attempted to do anything against majin buu even when he was being raped by him.

He failed to control vegeta, and even dabura correctly. That pretty much tells me how strong he is.
