This thread is not about a battle between Ay and tsunade. It's trying to understand the fanbase perspective when we compare their fight styles/abilities - or, at least compare ay's fight style(favoured by most) to that of tsunade(least favoured). Assume they're fighting the exact same opponent at 2 different periods in time.

How is it that some people claim Ay is the strongest Current Kage, but Tsunade is the weakest/top 3 weakest kage ever when....
Both Ay and tsunade use nin-tai CQC combat.
-Ay uses raiton armor to increase his speed, defence, power.
-Tsunade uses chakra to increase healing rate(defence) and chakra to increase her power to orgasmic levels
Now, this is where this becomes eerily similar.
In Defence
-Tsunade's byakugo allows her to tank pretty much any shit without dying
-Raikage's Raiton armor allows him to tank most shit without getting injured.
Stick with me please. In Attack
-Raikage uses precison, high speed attacks to destroy bone, or damage internal organs to kill his opponents
-Tsunade uses massive scale AoE attacks that require no precision to completely annihilate anything within the blast zone.
To put this as an analogy, it's somewhat like one person uses a sniper rifle and the other uses a ballistics missle. IF the sniper rifle hits, the target is dead, and it requires massive precision to acheive that, though that is offset by the guns highspeed bullet velocity. IF the ballistics missle hits, the target and the surrounding area is in ruin, though that is offset by the missle's slower than bullet travel speed.
Even if we go towards Chakra
It is highly unlikely, and i mean highly unlikely that ay has more combined chakra than tsunade. Between her Senju-uzumaki DNA and her years of hyakugo stored chakra, she can easily have bijuu levels worth of chakra.
In conclussion
-Ay's raiton armor is matched by tsunade's byakugo healing
-Ay's precision, high speed attacks are matched by tsunade's Wide scale(no precision required) nuke-attacks
-Ay's Bijuu level chara is matched by tsunade's DNA + Hyakugo
Most Ay fans will say "Chop Head off GG". Though this is not only impossible, it's never been hinted in the manga since from day one he got a lariat partner. But, Even then, Any tsunade fan can simply proclaim "Put foot down GG" Because, from tsunade, just stepping down would nuke the entire area and injure/kill her opponent.
Now, I ask you how, how the **** is Ay sooooo far above tsunade in the fanbase, when tsunade is pretty much a female version of Ay? At best they should be close to each other in the kage lineup.
PS: I didn't bother mention katsuya, but even then, i can add katsuya absorption as another defence to match ay's defence.
