(Raiton: Kyuuzou Furea) – Lightning Release: Surging Flare

Description: The user after channeling their raiton chakra throughout every chakra point in their body and performing the handseal sequence of Dragon → Serpent → Tiger, throws both of their arms upwards to release the chakra as a vertical cylindrical column of lightning which surrounds their body and travels up towards the sky. The column encases the user's body as its released and can be altered to have up to a radius of five meters around the user. If the opponent comes into contact with the column, they are suddenly thrown upwards and overloaded with a dangerous amount of raiton chakra, leaving their body paralyzed for two turns. The raiton chakra released via this method is oppositely charged to that of natural lightning, allowing this technique to be used to discharge storm clouds and hence prevent any lightning strikes. As a result, this technique is exceedingly useful in negating the conditions required for Kirin.
Note: Can only be Used Twice Per battle

i focus my raiton chakra then make 3 handseals releasing a vertical cylindrical column of electricity around me touching the sky.
Questions:
-what if the opponent attack from upwards within the cylindrical column, say, something is summoned therein.
-what if i am lying horizontally?, can I use it so it moves horizontally too into long-range
-Can it be used while in mid-air, on a summon?
-Will it affect the ground i'm standing on.
-Is it strong enough to evapotate up to s-rank water sent against it?
-Is it tangible anough to stop fire attacks as I've heard that fire phases into lightning which i don't believe yet.
-How many turn does it last before the column subside?
-Can someone perform other jutsu just as the column is made?
-Since it can clear clouds used for kirin, can it stop rain?
-what if an opponent uses water: dragon biting explosion" where water would push you from underneath? Will it work? Or the lightning would stop it too.

If something like Dropping Lid or another object of a similar size is summoned, this technique will destroy it. However, you have to bare in mind, the top of the technique has a hole depending on the size of the radius.
Nope, this technique can only be used when standing up.
Yes, it can be used in mid-air and whilst standing on a summon since the lightning moves vertically upwards.
Nope, the lightning moves upwards and so it won't affect the ground below you.
Depends on the size of the water wave, I would advise against using it to counter Suiton.
Yeah, the Fire/Lightning is a controversial issue and my personal take on it is that they don't interact with eachother. That being said, Fire can go through it.
The column ends the moment you attempt to use your next jutsu and will last for a maximum of one turn (the turn in which its used). Whilst you use the jutsu, keep your hands raised in the air, the moment the come down, the jutsu ends.

It can't stop rain, but I'm making a Fire variant of this technique which can
.Water biting explosion would stop the jutsu

I'm not sure, no sensei has given me a definite answer on how Fire/Lightning interact. For now, assume fire of all ranks go through it.
Yeah, I created this to also counter Mountain Smash. However, when using it to counter mountain smash make sure you utilize the full five meter radius of the technique (10 meter diameter) so it can destroy the earth slabs without posing a threat to you.
