Yes that is true, however if Australia wasn't such a great country maybe families won't move there.
I feel like a total douchebag saying this,I do like countries with great governments but Australia's taken a lot of people away from me, it's just not cool. I personally prefer New Zealand, and I don't see the point of moving to Australia, apart from the higher payment of course.
Don't get me wrong.
I prefer Aotearoa to Oz.
But NZ Taxes are crazy man. Australia's are lower man. I know atleast 10-20 families that went to Oz because of John Keys shitty(not caught up with Kiwi Politics) tax increasing.
New Zealand is awesome man, if it weren't for the taxes and the ineptness of Wellington I may have stayed there.

Don´t know much about New Zealand, but from what I´ve seen in Xena: Warrior Princess and The Lord of The Rings Triology it looks like a beautiful country, aesthetically speaking of course

New Zealand born and raised. At least when we talk we don't sound like annoying retards like those Australians loll I honestly hate their accent with a passion. Our SAS is better and weren't we rated in the top 5 of being the most beautiful and safest country in the world? Idk where these statistics are but a teacher told me. Our economy isn't sh*t but it is worse then Australia (I put it down to us having a lower population) Finding a job isn't so difficult you just have to work at it. NZ is only slighlty less better then Autralia on a few points and it isn't a dramatic difference or horrendous. NZ all day everyday

That is true, however this is because of the Chrsitchurch event, and because the government wants NZ to be more beautiful. They're succeeding in my opinion.

Commenting on people's accents is racist and insulting. We're on terms where we're talking about government and the fricking society. I agree with you ,New Zealand is awesome, but you don't have to be a douche and comment on someone's accent.

New Zealand's scenery is just beautiful. Really, it's enough to bring tears to someone's eyes D: It's definitely on my "have to visit before dying" list!
But for me, I'd have to choose Aus. Home, of course <3
