all the signs are pointing towards the fact that hes dead.
but it just doesnt make sence me...
he saw his father, they were talking and then we went on with pein battlingkonoha
there is just no way in hell kishi would kill of one of the top characters in naruto without a propper goodbye.

if this is actually a pic made by kishi then it's just another mind trick.
