Title: Beginning Town/Town of Beginnings
- There are no titans the whole way to Shiganshina, and Eren is in preparation for plugging the wall. This is mostly a flashback chapter for Eren, which initiates after Armin asks if he is afraid.
- Hanji Theorizes That the reason some Titans CAN BE Active at Night IS Because of the moonlight Effecting Their energy levels in the Same way sunlight does.
- Eren indicates that what continues to fuel him is the "search for freedom." He remembers that his life used to be stagnant ("Watching the same sky") before he met Armin and found out about his dream. He promises Armin again about going to the sea.
- Erwin seems to have already anticipated their opponents also having knowledge of the basement and being present. Everyone is in their hooded capes so that no enemy can distinguish Eren and capture him.
- When he sees his old house, Eren is determined to "get it back," so he draws his swords.
- Armin Suspects That Reiner and Bertholdt May BE nearby after he Finds Remnants of the camp (Specifically from the Bonfire) That They HAD set up on the Wall. He alerts Erwin to this Information.
- Bertholt and Reiner detect the others' presence
