Attack on titan creator aims to end manga in 20 volumes

This is the story :Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama revealed that he aims to complete his manga in 20 book volumes. Isayama mentioned this during a discussion with fellow manga creator Hiroki Endo (All-Rounder Meguru, Eden - It's an Endless World!) that East Press published in the November issue of the martial arts magazine Gong Kakutogi on Monday.

Isayama is a well-known fan of martial arts, and Endo's All-Rounder Meguru manga deals with the world of amateur mixed martial arts. Endo discussed the homage he made in the manga to a certain famous match, while Isayama talked about depicting fights in his own manga.

Kodansha published the 11th volume of Attack on Titan in Japan last month, and the series has now sold over 20 million copies. Kodansha Comics is publishing the seventh volume in the United States this month.


My thoughts :
Hajime seems to know what he is doing , since it's monthly we got a couple of more years of AOT then & of course plenty more anime .

I read an interview somewhere(I don't remember where,it was late)where he seemed very uninterested and can't wait to stop doing Attack on Titan and wanting to start his new one.

OT:I don't know how many episodes make a volume so,can't comment on this one.

I don't know how that works , but if we speak in chapters , i dont see AOT having more than 100 .

I haven't read anything like that about Hajime , i really doubt that is true , i hope is not tho .

Volume = Multiple chapters

ex.

volume 1 has chapters 1-5

volume 2 has chapters 6-11

volume 3 has chapters 12-17

So basicly there are about 100 chapters left,if he continues with the format this stuff will go on for more than 8 years,so I doubt it.

100/12=8,3333333333333.If they change it to being weekly it will be much shorter but you'll have to calculate that yourself cuz I couldn't be arsed.

if he does it weekly , he could just split the chapters 20 or less pages each week ? .......eh that would be weird , we are at the 11th volume 9 more to go cause i really doubt they meant 20 more , that would be a lot lol . around 100 chapters sounds about right .

Knowing Attack on Titan it would be nearly impossible to read 100 chapters of it.It will be so stuffed with mysteries at the end he will have no time to explain it and the end will be all like: Yeah it was all just the Smoke Monster 'n pals.

Mainly because it will lose most of its following so it will be a loss of money,and the creators will have to cut it short,but that is just my opinion on the things to come.

Erh, there's 49 chaps right now and 11 volumes so 9 volumes would be about.. 40 more chapters o-o
