Yes the attack on titan anime will end on next week with the final episode 25 although we might see a new season dont expect it until the fall season next year october 2014 cause its to close to the manga right now

considering manga comes out once per month i am not surprised it will stop now, the good news is that other animes (like Kuroko no Basket) will start the 2nd season shortly after

It is close to the manga—very close, actually. The final episode is expected to end on the cliffhanger at the end of chapter 33, and at that point, the manga will only be 16 chapters ahead of the anime, which is not that much; especially when you're talking about a manga that releases on a monthly basis and an anime that mostly covers a chapter and a half in a single episode. It is clearly not enough to warrant a second season yet.

You can always read the manga until they have enough content from the source material to cover in a second season.

I read the manga so this doesn't bother me, I stopped watching the anime at episode 3 but will probably continue after the first season is over. They will most likely make more seasons since this series is very popular and in my opinion making different seasons each with 24 or 25 episodes is a great idea and they should do that with more shounens, that means no crappy fillers, wayyyy less crappy animation and the series doesn't get repetitive, the fights won't be a pain to watch because they will actually have great animation 90% of the time. Just imagine if shippuden was like that, it would actually be worth it.
