At what age should a boy have a girlfriend

Yeah,am a boy and i am curious to know at what age a boy can have a girlfriend,i see 12 year old boys,13,14 years having girlfriend and most of them arnt martured,as for me the time u can have a girlfriend is when u are like 16 years and u know what u are doing so u dont get dumped,at what age do u guys think a boy is qualified to have a girlfreind

I personally don't see why people would ask these things. Have a girlfriend whenever you want, as long as you actually like her. Saying that there should be an age restriction to having a girlfriend is like saying there's should be an age restriction to having real, meaningful feelings towards another person.

yh where am from there isnt an age restriction but its something like a custom,wait till you're fully matured (even psychologically) before you have an official girlfriend...though its pretty much dying out now and even 12yr olds can have one, i dont see that as the actual thing but just confused kids having fun

I believe that kids (14 and under) are just kids who is having fun and are not real girlfriend/boyfriend.... and i believe when your matured 15-16 and up.. then you are beginning to be able to have a real relationship....

I'm not saying they are not allowed to or anything.. I'm just saying i believe you can first have a good and real relationship when your 15 and up... in my mind.

I think as soon as a boy/guy is mature enough to understand how feelings,emotions and relationships are,,

They need to know that girlfriend/boyfriend isn't just a title...
