i just wanted to know if you are/ aren't :y
im a Brit , now im a bit of both , im going by UK and not my country( england)
im not proud because:
Stereotypes:-sheep shaggers is just one example,posh stiff upper lip
The Queen does jack sh!t unlike most world leaders(can she even be considered one?)

and why i am:
we do well at everything compared to everyone else per head (60 million people , team GB in the olympics got roughly 2/3 of the american gold medal total , considering that USA has nearly 7x as many people as just an example.)
our general Culture:
we have so many musical legends and comedians , great actors too.
but most of all we have Big ol Boris

We (UK but especially England) have contributed more to the modern world than any other nation(s) (to preempt the American attack on this: American prominence has been relatively recent and mostly in the 20th century alone whereas we go back several centuries earlier and you are arguably our spawn anyway).

Belgian's don't have pride in their country xD we're just one big push-over chaotic country that has something that goes beyond modesty...the few things I'm proud of are probably Belgium comics like Tintin and our beer and chocolate. x) My dad told me the disk and audio cassette were invented by belgium scientists/engineers who worked for Philips...there are other importand Belgians in history, but I doubt a lot of people know them...

I'm in the US, and I love and hate my country.

I hate my country because of it's incredibly stupid leaders and citizens. Check this out. They take the ten commandments out of the schools, stop spanking children, try to take away freedom, allow homosexuals to not only live but be functioning members of society and then they sit back and wonder why the whole country is going to sh*t. ... ( -_-) Seriously? Like that wasn't f**king obvious? (-_- )

I still love it though for the same reason, everyone's so stupid, it's absolutely adorable how they think they know what they're doing. ^_^
