I prefer the term humanism over feminism simply due to the light that has been cast upon it. Taking on the name feminist associates you with the crazies that don't truly want equality.

I am a feminist, by definition, I am for both genders and I do want equality for both. I do not support the type of "feminists" that are only for women's rights and all for killing men simply because of their one little encounter with a man. equalism tends to distance itself from feminism as more radicals make their way to the mainstream

i identify more closely with the movement's second wave and the ideals that came along with it, but i can't wholeheartedly say i back the echo chambers a lot of these retards are trapping themselves in.

but yes, i suppose as i am as i value the rights of women, especially minority women and third world women who rarely have any voices. that being said, i despise what this movement's turned into. tumblrcirclejerkers going off on this issue and that, talking about this idiotic person over that... ugh.
