[Theory] Are we heading for a SH and Big Mom alliance to defeat Kaidou?

With the way things are going, it seems like the most logical thing to happen. Big Mom's DF is the perfect counterpart to Kaidou's immortality.

What do you all mortal think of this theory?​

Big Mom's punishment for the loyal Jinbei leaving her crew was maiming or killing him with a rigged wheel. I don't think Big Mom is so forgiving, even if they can be used to her advantage.

For Luffy to reach his goal of PK he will have to defeat or ally with the Yonko so not to far fetched

No, Luffy needs to overcome these trials himself in order to become Pirate King, also both Big Mom and Luffy have this sense pride that would prevent either from working under the other and why would Big Mom go to the extent of fighting another Yonko, who is likely stronger than her, for the sake of someone who spat on and tarnished her and her crew's image. I know Luffy has this ability to make allies out of enemies like he did Crocodile and Buggy, but this is a Yonko we're talking about, not a second-rate pirate or government dog.

I don't think there will be an alliance I think there will be something along the lines of the enemy of my enemy.

Kaidou has things Big Mom needs and vice versa. Those things include Ceasar and the red poneglyph. I think Big Mom might get dragged into the Kaidou arc at some point because we have no characters that can face a yonkou except for another yonkou. So I imagine it will be something along the lines of Marineford 2.0 with 2 yonkou crews and all the supernova in the middle.

Unless Sanji's cake is so incredibly good it causes BM to undergo a personality change and forgive the SHs for their intrusion and assault (which is actually fairly plausible), there's little chance of them teaming up to take down Kaido. The only members of BM's family who'd actually ally with Luffy are Chiffon, who's basically been disowned so far, and Pudding, who I still don't fully trust, just because of how bipolar she's become after Sanji wooed her.

Again, it's not a stretch of the imagination to think that the cake might be so mind-blowingly good it cures BM's murderous cravings and changes how she looks at the Straw Hats. I don't think it'll happen, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did.

We'll see everything when BM eats the cake. That's a crucial moment. Knowing how Oda wrote her as a schizophrenic character she just might switch her stance towards SH's.

Big mom will eat the cake, and then bege will try the assassination, and I bet we won't see that, big mom if she survives the assassination will kill bege, so basically one or the other is getting off screened imo since that's how oda likes to do everything.

I can list over 10x oda has of screened or mentioned a battle we never and never have gotten to see

Well if kaido was to assault on of those people luffy did and then the Marines would send in an admiral.

Regardless of if he won, admirals can fight with yonkos not just yonkos with yonkos. Thank you for being wrong for once in a very long time

I used the words 'can face a yonkou'

Admirals won't be send out to deal with yonkou because it would throw off the balance between the three powers. That has been said by Sengoku before. So there won't be a situation where an admiral would be facing off against a yonkou unless it would for defense like in Marineford. Same thing goes for Shichibukai, their bounty gets frozen and their crimes get overlooked, and they even get marine protection to keep them in place.

So we still don't have characters that CAN face a yonkou, except for another yonkou.

I'm not saying she would join the Straw Hat fleet. I'm saying there is a possibility she could momentarily change her behaviour towards Straw Hats when she tastes the cake, possibly giving them a chance to gain an advantage and perhaps enabling them to finish her right there and then.

For example, Jinbei exploiting her moment of ecstasy & drowning her. When she goes down Big Mom Pirates go down.
And I'm almost certain that Sanji will be involved in her final downfall aswell. But first he's gonna let her enjoy the magnificient WEEEDIIIING CAAAAAAKE!!!

Oh and the "out of my a*s" prediction I linked is from 2 years ago. Knowledge on Charlotte family and BM was scarce back then.

How does Kaidou have Ceasar? Last i checked ceasar ran away after receiving his heart back from Bege and i DOUBT he'll go back to kaidou or would he? What do you reckon, you think if he asked for mercy and promised to continue working for kaidou ; kaidou would allow that?

Kaidou doesn't technically have Ceasar, but he was working for him when he produced SAD on Punk Hazard. Kaidou needs him for his smile army and Big Mom needs him for his Giantification research. That means he is wanted by 2 Yonkou, it also means that he will end up in the hands of 1 of them which will make the other one mad.

If Ceasar wasn't relevant anymore, Oda would've left him behind at Punk Hazard. But for some reason he got dragged through 3 arcs doing basically nothing. So his pay-off is soon to come.

I think he would voluntarily go back to Kaidou because he needs the protection of a yonkou to survive at this point, and he never has been disloyal to Kaidou. He can claim he has been abducted by numerous people along the way. Kaidou would allow that because he still has a use for him. And I think he will go for Kaidou because the story is moving that way now.
