people hate me in school cuz im tooo nice ive never swore never critcized anyone or anything and i never talk in school cuz im too shy well im only 8 so i got plenty of years

Wow, you're pretty young. At your age you should be able to get away with reading any manga or anime you please without someone criticizing you for it.

Same for me, I wouldn't tell anyone about it only because it would like rule me out of being cool xD

I have plenty of "undercover nerds" as friends. Boy are the *******s to me when they're around friends. xd

Well, a lot of my friends don't even know that I read manga or comics. When I do tell them, they say "That's cool", but they've never called me a nerd for it, nor have they labelled me "lesser than them". Besides, I haven't heard anyone say the word nerd in an offensive way to anyone before. In my school, that word is usually treated as a joke among friends.

I have no idea how most people view me, but I don't usually talk about anime around other people not because I'm embarassed it just never comes up. In my opinion I am a nerd but most people would probably see me as just a lowlife screw up since that seems to be the side of me I show other people.

I have a best friend who's been my bro for a decade and a girlfriend who is completely inlove with me so I honestly couldnt care less what anyone else thinks lol

True, not all schools use these terms. My current school certainly does not, but my previous school did. I guess it can also depend on the maturity level of those around us.

I think I can agree with you on this- I have 2 friends and girlfriend (about time) and I don't care to fit in with anyone else. They accept me for who I am and I'm pretty satisfied with it.

so liking anime means you gotta be a nerd? isn't it a stupid stereotype? just b/c you or some are 'nerds' or so, doesn't make everyone who loves anime is a nerd. I'm an 'Anime nerd' but Idk about the whole 'social nerd' my friends are a mixture of the popular kids, nerds, emos, gays, jocks, etc..I talk to anyone who's cool with me. I've seen extreme nerds who sit down and battle each other with cards, I know a few b/c some like anime but I never sat down to play because I don't know it.

I am myself, you can say BS but hey, that's who I am. I don't truly put myself in a category or label myself as something in order to fit society.
