It is like the matrix. Do you think the matrix was just? And the human world would come to an end because no one would reproduce.

*MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS DEPENDING ON YOUR PROGRESS WITH THE MANGA*
I've already had this idea in my head for a little while, but after reading today's latest (and very excellent) chapter, I figured I'd make a thread on it. Take a look at these two frames:

I take notice of two quotes in particular:
"It will be a world without hatred or conflict. Everything will be one with me; everything united."
"No war, no peace, nothing. A perfect world...There lies truth in a singular consciousness that has abandoned all individuality!"
It seems that Tobi simply wants to have a world where there is no conflict, no war, no violence...he just happens to be doing that in his own way, by using Infinite Tsukuyomi and basically controlling reality. Is this really a bad thing? He doesn't WANT to hurt anybody, it seems (to back up this statement, refer to his invasion of the Kage Summit; he politely asked them to simply hand over the Jinchuuriki), although he was prepared to do so with his Zetsu army. Wanting and preparing are two different things.
It seems to me that Tobi's only real goal is to make the world peaceful (in his own way). After all, "the ends justify the means." I personally don't believe that what Tobi is doing is wrong. But what do you all think?
In short:
Do you believe that Tobi's motives are bad?
If you post a reply, please explain your decision. I love CONSTRUCTIVE criticism! Also, please refrain from saying things such as "Fail thread", "Itachi/Nagato/Madara pwn Tobi", or "Itachi's Tsukuyomi is better". These do not contribute at all. Thanks!
I'm afraid I don't understand the reference, as I haven't seen The Matrix. =(
He doesnt want to hurt anyone...???
He took all the Jinchurriki's to complete this mission. Extraction = Death for them, fyi.
He killed the only woman in his group.
He killed Danzou's henchmen without blinking just to test a jutsu.
He killed Naruto's Parents and tried to attack the Village.
Only God knows how he got all them Uchiha eyes on his wall.
WTF are you talking about. He is BADDDDDDDDD to the bone!!
Well in the matrix machines with advanced artificial intelligence placed the entire human race into comas. While in the comas, the humans were kept nourished and lived artificial lives together in the Matrix. It was basically normal life but it was fake. Some people got out of their comas and fight the machines to free the human race.
Unfortunately, extracting the Bijuu from the Jinchuuriki resulted in the latters' deaths. That just happened to be a side effect—I'm sure some of them may be alive if that weren't the case. If you recall, when Tobi extracted Kurama from Kushina, he didn't kill her, even after he saw she was barely alive.
He needed the Rinnegan. Plus, he considered Konan a traitor to the Akatsuki; so revenge was part of it.
Tobi couldn't trust Kabuto, and questioned his motives; he happened to have the necessary requirements for an example, and used them. If he wanted them dead from the start, he would've just killed them earlier.
His goal was to extract Kurama. Trashing the village just happened to be part of that, although my argument here is a bit shaky.
He was recruited by Itachi to kill the Uchiha clan. Collecting the eyes was a bonus. In fact, the only reason he helped Itachi kill the Uchiha is because Itachi went to him directly; he didn't do it on his own.
Tobi instructed Kurama to kill Kushina but Minato saved her. Tobi is evil but his goal is right in his mind.
