[Debate] Are the rioters in Baltimore...?

Are the rioters in B-more thugs? The people that burned down the old folks home and the CVS? The people that launched rocks at police in riot gear? Are they thugs?

If you say yes, do you think the police officers that killed Freddie Grey are thugs? They killed a man with a rap sheet as long as the Nile River. Are those officers thugs?

Are the rioters after all of those won/lost sports games thugs?
- 2014 Giants win the World Series and in San Francisco there was no riot... Though, there were 40 arrests, 2 shootings, and several cars burned.

- 2011 Canucks lose in Stanely Cup final and there was no riot. 100 people arrested, 150 injured, 15 cars burned, and 50 businesses vandalized.

- 2015 Ohio State wins NCAA championship, nearly 90 fires were set yet there was no riot.

None of those people were thugs. Their community was never blamed for these 'non-riots'. The only difference I can see between these sports riots and the Baltimore riots and the Ferguson riots are people tired of social injustice, whether they know they are or not.

These riots aren't justified, as in to prove a point or make a change, it's as Obama said, they are simply thugs taking advantage of a bad situation to further their own greed and to unleash their own anger.

For every police officer that abuses his power, there are 1000 who are paragons of the justice department, saving lives every day. But people don't get butthurt over them, so nobody reports on them.

Police brutality doesn't fade away, it happens like every month, also I'm not saying police are bad, most are amazing, all I'm saying is that one shouldn't just blame one side, and rioters were bound to happen since people have had enough of the police. Anyone who destroys their city, robs their neighbors and assaults another is a thug end of discussion. Does this mean every cop is a thug, no. Does it mean everyone in Baltimore during the protest/riots is a thug, no. Does it mean everyone in the crowd after those championships is a thug, no. Thugs are the people who use a situation as an excuse to misbehave and break laws, thugs are the people who disregarded the wishes of that child's mother(and yes despite his age he was still her child) and proceeded to march down the street with anger and hatred in their hearts. Most of those people weren't out there for Freddie Gray or Michael Brown or Eric Garner or anyone other than themselves.

But hey things have to be done to get attention. Police brutality is one of most overlooked things and it needs to be acknowledged seriously.Until this start causing money nothing will change. Games are being cancelled/postponed

And what happened when they changed? The law which stated a black had to give up their seat to a white person was gone.
