People think that they stand no chance against shanks whatsover. That is true at the moment but it can chage soon. Do people not know tge meaning if plot armour? If oda deems their win against the yonkou shanks as part of plot then he will make it happen. THow is the kidd alliance taking on shanks any different than luffy law alliance taking on kaidou? Luffy will need a major powerup for this purpose and you guys think that oda will not give a powerup to the kid alliance to destroy shanks? He obviously wil.............................. a In a nutshell I got 2 facts -Kid alliance is at least as strong as the luffy law alliance or quite possibly slighyly stronger. If they get another powerup they will be beast. ---Shanks is insanely powerful...thus he is no different to big mama and kaidou. He could stop the matineford war quick...like any other yonkou could have done. People need to stop fooling themselves that shanks is somehow much stronger than the other yonkou. If oda wants the kid alliance to defeat shanks then it will eventually happen...

I don't think Oda wants Kidd to beat Shanks.

That argument is getting so over used, no shit it's his manga... power ups aside, I don't think you fully realize the gap between shanks and the alliance. To put things in perspective, it took the Law/Luffy alliance plus Happo navy's top, 2 other supernova (zoro, cavendish), and countless colosseum fighters just to beat the Doflamingo pirates. I don't see kidds alliance (from what we've seen) to be a greater force than what took Down dofly, someone who's noticeably weaker than Yonkou level and is scared of kaido. Even if Kidd, hawkins, apoo, and killer combined are enough to push shanks its not like his crew is gonna sit there, It's likely that shanks has a few members of his crew that are admiral level, or at least strong enough to make admiral take caution (Beckman displayed the later without even fighting).

Yeah I agree OP, if Oda wants it to happen it will happen.

I like the idea of the Kid alliance beating Shanks, they don't have to kill him but if they do it shouldn't matter.

These guys will be taking the Yonkos places eventually. The new generation will surpass the old.

Not shltting on Shanks here, but him going up against 4 supernova's and all of their crews might be a bit much. Oda will never let it come that far because when either side wins the other side becomes immediately useless.

Both have lost one arm and has the scars on their left side of face. It will be more interesting fight than luffy vs doffy. So just wait and watch we will eventualy have the outcome after 2-3 arcs probably.

Well Shanks is a little too big fish for someone like them.

So Shanks is too big a fish for them and Kaido isn't too big for Luffy and Law?
That's just too convenient don't you think? .
It's insane both alliance are going after a yonkou in the first place. And them both have to fight their crews too.
It's something that has never been done before but it's not possible
