It depends on whether you're talking about Satan from the Old Testament or Lucifer/Satan from the New Testament. They are portrayed in completely different ways.

Old Testament: Satan is an angel who accuses mankind to God. He is completely subservient to God and had no power at all.

New Testament: Lucifer was a fallen Angel who became the King of Hell and the Incarnation of evil, and the enemy of God.

Why not just One Testament? You have two. SMH You have these books where their should be only one.

Did you know a lot of satanist have this mindset and have promoted this type of thinking throughout the world for a while now? It's only an oppressive "religion" if you perceive it that way. I actually used to believe in the alien theories and I actually have vast knowledge on the entire conspiracy lol. But I personally returned to my beliefs in Jesus Christ for personal reason an experiences. I do respect other point of views and beliefs though I'm not your average "Christian". I have studied a lot of different theories so I guess that's why I much more open minded than most.

If Satan is weaker than God, then who would be God's rival ..

He is Gods rival/enemy. Konohamaru in part one was a "rival" of naruto. But naruto was much stronger than konohamaru.

God is almighty and all powerful. All knowing. Satan is not, and both of them know it.

Satan just desires to be the ruler of the universe. He desires Gods position of authority.

In a way, they do work like yin and yang.

The question as to why if God is all powerful, doesnt he destroy satan, and just eliminate all the bad in the world.

Well the answer, is a few things.
One. As far as we know, God does not just wipe people from existance.
Two. In order to have TRUE free will(which he gave us), there must also be a bad choice. God started us off with one real rule. Dont eat the fruit. In return for obeying that simple command, we were in a paradise. True complete peace. We were all like children. We were innocent.

It could be argued that if that fruit never existed, that we would be unknowing slaves to God. We would not have real free will.

Three. The reason Pain and suffering and bad things exist, is because God let them. This is our punishment. This is what the world looks like when satan has INFLUENCE. The world isnt like this, because God is evil. It is like this because God loves us, and it allows us to grow.
Think of it like this. If you went through school, and all of it was easy, and you didnt study, because you could do it all, then suddenly you are in college, and now it is hard, and you are failing, because you never learned how to study. As opposed to the person who struggled, and studied hard to make good grades, he excels in college.

To quote batman begins "Bruce why must we fall? So we can learn to get back up."

Contrary to many peoples beliefs, while the world may seem hellish, there is lots of WONDERFUL things and people out there.
They are not seen because "good deeds go unseen".



God and Satan are enemies. However both are neccesary. In many ways they are like yin and yang. God has the capability to destroy satan. But as he is just, and righteous, he does not do so.



This is all my personal understanding of the conflict. I do not study or ponder this type of stuff very often, so I may not have a good grasp. Fellow believers, feel free to correct me on something if im wrong.

If you believe im just spouting a bunch of nonsense then that is your choice. I hope that you reconsider, for your own sake.

Even though you may believe the Bible is a bunch of fiction, there is still a ton of wisdom to be found in there.

No in my opinion my belief is right. Otherwise I wouldn't believe in it. That would be ridiculous. I believe that doing the right thing and being a good man is the right thing to do period. Not to be saved and allowed into heaven. It's just our duty as humans to spread peace and love amongst each other no matter what. That's my point of view. Good for you. Everyone is entitled to believe what they want. Glad you can respect others.

Adolf hitler was a "christian". Yet he massacred "God's People".

I can go and kill a hundred people, useing the name "Beautiful People"(your name). Does that make me you? Does that make me a follower of you? NO.

As with every aspects of society where there is power, people can and may abuse it.

Im a Christian, but I can say without a doubt that westboro baptist, is not Mostly christian.

Consider this scenario when thinking of the crusades. You are a simple farmer in a kingdom. You are taught that if you dont do certain things, that God will send you to hell. As you dont want to go to hell, you listen to the preacher. You cannot read. The preacher teaches and quotes scripture that tells you to go kill enemies in the name of God. If you dont you go to hell. As you cannot read, and as the bible is not mass produced, you must listen. Especially when your king sends you to battle.

There is NEVER, NEVER ,NEVER, a SINGLE INSTANCE where you kill someone "for God, or for Jesus". Jesus preached forgiveness. He preached nobody is perfect. He preached to turn the other cheek if someone slaps you or insults you.(as nobody is perfect, nobody can fulfill everything he taught. But as long as they STRIVE, and try to do so, then they are doing good. So nobodies perfect. But people should still strive to be perfect.

So simply though people who kill in the name of Jesus, are not Christian. People who torture others in the name of Jesus are not Christian. They merely claim to be. I right now can claim to be a feminist. But if i protest feminism am I really a feminist?

The westboro baptist may believe in Jesus. But the fact they preach HATE(the opposite of what is really preached(love)), they are not real christians.

Anyways. You seem like a nice open minded person. You may not have read the bible, but even if you dont believe in God, it is a good book to read, chock full of wisdom. It is not exactly a action book or anything like that. And since it is a older text, the language is not up to date.(and many parts of it cannot be translated properly in todays terms)
