DBZ characters Power Levels are so ridiculously high, that it's immeasurable. So high that in GT the characters should be able to destroy a Multiverse or Omniverse. In DBZ characters are capable of Multi-Planet busting, Galaxy busting, and Universe busting. Characters were capable of City and Planet busting and the early stages of Z.

Frieza core bursted Namek. There is no way he can destroy a whole planet in 1 attack without using some trick to make the planet blow up with its physics.
Why can I say this, because there is no manga proof that shows he can, unless you use crappy powerscaling with filler anime.
Cell couldn't blow up Snake way when he exploded, or even as far as King Yama's place. He said he had enough energy to blow up the Solar System. Feats prove him wrong.
Anyone on Kid Buu's level can blow up a planet however. People just wish they were stronger and defend it with their lives because it is their childhood. Get over yourself.
Go watch Tenchi Muyo. Go watch Saint Saiya. Go read Bastard!!. Go watch Slayers. Go watch TTGL. Read Getbackers. Hell, even some Digimon could kick everyone from DBZ's ass. Better yet, go read Noein. There is a little girl in the manga that would wipe the floor with Goku.

You don't understand though. Is Krillin's techniques strong enough to fully destroy a Planet? Frieza Saga Krillin's Power Level was higher than Saiyan Saga Vegeta's PL. Saiyan Saga Vegeta destroyed a Planet so does that mean Krillin can obliterate a Planet because his PL is higher than Vegeta's? Look here, not even in DBZ, this is just around the beginning of DB. This guy destroyed the moon, which is ~1/4 the size of the earth when he had a power level no more than 139. In the Frieza saga, Base Goku was at 3,000,000.

That just shows you how dense the Earth is compared to the moon. It takes a hell of a lot more energy to blow up the Earth then the moon.
2nd, you are using power levels to compare the 2. Someone with a power level of 10, does that mean they are 2 times as strong as someone with a power level of 5? Also, I don't remember Goku having a base of 3,000,000. I knew he had a base of 180,000 arriving on Namek. *looks it up* Oh so it was stated in another source that he was at 3,000,000. So basically like the databooks for Naruto. That already makes it lose a lot of its credibility not being part of the canon source.
To be honest power levels are very inconsistent with the feats shown in the manga.

Here is Master Roshi using his full powered Kamehameha and us as the reader seeing it for the first time. He was at full energy and all he managed to do was blow up a mountain and the castle sitting on it.

Then, we see him use the same attack one more time, the scan you posted. This was when he was fighting Goku in the finals. He was already tired and he somehow managed to blow up the moon.
Piccolo is even more crazy. He actually grew way stronger then Roshi could ever dream of. He blew up the moon at
the beginning of Z. The sad thing is, that is his strongest shown feat. Go find his 2nd strongest feat, or his 3rd. They are no where near moon bursting.
Imo, the moon bursting feats are pure outliers with the rest of the story. They were done to show Goku and Gohan's weakness when transformed, nothing else.

Frieza intentionally made the ki blast smaller because he didn't want to hurt himself. If the planet exploded when he was that close, he would be very hurt. I'm not sure why you didn't understand that.
It took me awhile to figure out of this was canon or fake. The drawing look different and more up to date. I know for a fact it did not show the blast in the manga during Vegeta's flashback. This is from a special released by V-Jump as an adaptation to the manga. Kinda liek how DBGT is an adaptation to the anime. Basically it isn't canon. Close though.

Cell blew up the North Kai's planet when he blew himself. He didn't blow the snake way because it's 1 million km while the earth's diameter is only 12,742 km.

Look at the background of Cell regenerating. You can see he destroyed everything in the vicinity.

Yet all we get are 2 big scars on the ground. If Cell wanted to win, he could have just aimed it at the Earth and killed everyone but himself(like he planed to in V1) since he could breath in space.
Many other manga's make claims they can do something and never do it. No one takes those feats seriously. In One Piece, someone said White Beard has the power to destroy the world. Kizaru's light beam attacks are as fast as light. Zoro even dodged the attacks, so does that mean he can move faster then light? Why are other animes excluded from using something saying they can do something and never do it, but DBZ isn't. You either say all or none. You don't get to pick and choose which anime you like and discredit the ones you don't like.
Even if they could, how do you know they aren't going to use the same trick that Frieza did to blow up Namek. They could all just aim for the core and make the planet collapse on itself and blow up. Only legit feat is Kid Buu blowing up the Earth. Anyone on his level and above can more then likely do it. I would even go as for and say even People around Majin Buu could as well. It puts DBZ around large planet to Small Sun level. Anything higher might be stretching it.
The part with Cell blowing up King Kai's place was to show an aoe attack done by Cell cant even reach the Sun standing from the Earth. It also shows Goku's durability which people seem to over hype so much.

@GuardianofTime Go do something productive while you are away. Read Yu Yu Hakusho, One Piece, or TTGL. You might find a new anime/manga that is better then DBZ. They all got lots of action and blowing stuff up. You will enjoy it.
And yes, if you take the non canon feats and crappy powerscaling, DBZ is much stronger then the canon. To bad no one accepts that as the legit way to say which manga is stronger.

They are twice as strong but that doesn't mean that two people with a power of 5 can beat a person with a power of 10 (Goku&Piccolo Vs. Raditz, Z fighters Vs. Saibamen, etc...)
Goku did have a power level of 3,000,000 on Namek after the Ginyuu saga. Frieza's first form was 530,000, Second form is over 1,000,000, third form is not stated, but final form 100% power was 120,000,000. These are all facts taken from the Daizenshu 7 made by Akira. In it he also states that Goku had a power level of 3,000,000 fighting Frieza. When Goku was fighting around the same level as Frieza (50% power) he was using 20x Kaioken which put him at 60,000,000. Anything higher and he overwhelmed Goku. SS Goku was at 150,000,000 so 100% Frieza was no match for him then.

If Cell's primary objective was to destroy Earth he wouldn't have made the Cell games. He just has an eccentric personality just like the Sayians. For example, Goku wants to protect Earth yet he let Vegeta live just because he wanted to fight him again.
Cell wanted to defeat his opponent just like when Vegeta was inciting Cell not to dodge his Final Flash attack.

they have universe busters and thats being extremely wanky and generous and ignorant on my part. there are characters in anime who have created thousands of universes just because they were bored, and characters who stand on and chuck galaxies like frisbees. you want to talk strong? theres a character called kami tenchi. he can do anything he wants, without any limitation or rule. unlike shenron.he wouldnt even notice dbz and if he does, he can turn them into insects and be done with it
