It's obvious by these past few posts that you're just salty that your boys can't compare. XD
And no, they aren't overhyped, overestimated, or overrated. Fanboys of other anime/manga just need to swallow truth. They are strong as f*ck.

Not an error. Just because something happened in the DBZ storyline that you didnt like, that proves your thread to be failure dosent make it an error. It would only be an error if Akira put something in there that he didnt mean to.

according to your logic:

Hashirama> Konohamaru is an error
or Itachi being an Uchiha is an error
or the series being named Naruto is an error. I can go on forever using your twisted logic as examples of fails.

It is true he even nerfs the charaters power levels to make them seem like city busting level when they could destroy the earth at any moment if they don't keep there power under control

The reasoning is that they must focus on destroying the earth if they want to. This was made true when Vegeta's final flash was said to be able to destroy the earth, but since he focused it entirely on Cell, it did not. One of the Z fighters makes mention of this. So there you go :happy:

Well i think people just love dbz too much to at mit anything, i mean you can put goku or someone from dbz against someone who can clearly win, almost everyone will say the dbz character just because its dbz.

Dbz is good, but people need to learn that dbz characters can't beat every and all anime characters come on a lot of these characters you put against a dbz is OP!.

example superman. i know he isn't a anime character but people still say goku would win, you can put Vegeta against an entire show example, Fairy tail & they will still say Vegeta just because its Vegeta.

No they're not overhyped. All the Z fighters, except Yajirobe, could destroy planets. Goku doesn't even need to go SS to be able to destroy a planet. Vegeta with 18,000 power level (when he first arrived) could destroy the earth. Goku without Kaioken or SS was at 3,000,000 base in Namek Saga when Frieza was able to destroy planet Vegeta with his first form only at 530,000.

Krillin can not destroy a planet. Yamcha can not destroy a planet. If you count planet busting as destroying the core, then anybody could destroy it.

God. ALMOST every single person is this thread is a dumbass. Everyone is posting filler crap from the anime saying HEY LOOK THEY DID THIS SO EARLY ON SO OF COURSE THEY CAN DESTROY A PLANET.

Go find me the manga pages of them doing this stuff. I DARE YOU. I'll even give you rep if you can find me a scan of Vegeta blowing up the bug planet, or Frieza destroying planet Vegeta in his base form. I want to see the mother effing explosions.

Don't bother because they are anime filler and don't exist in the manga, but I bet none of you have even touched the manga before.

Frieza core bursted Namek. There is no way he can destroy a whole planet in 1 attack without using some trick to make the planet blow up with its physics.

Why can I say this, because there is no manga proof that shows he can, unless you use crappy powerscaling with filler anime.

Cell couldn't blow up Snake way when he exploded, or even as far as King Yama's place. He said he had enough energy to blow up the Solar System. Feats prove him wrong.

Anyone on Kid Buu's level can blow up a planet however. People just wish they were stronger and defend it with their lives because it is their childhood. Get over yourself.

Go watch Tenchi Muyo. Go watch Saint Saiya. Go read Bastard!!. Go watch Slayers. Go watch TTGL. Read Getbackers. Hell, even some Digimon could kick everyone from DBZ's ass. Better yet, go read Noein. There is a little girl in the manga that would wipe the floor with Goku.

Just because DBZ is well known doesn't mean it is the strongest.

With that said. Let me show you how overhyped the anime is compared to the manga.

In the manga, Vegeta says 100x normal gravity.

In the anime, Vegeta says 450x normal gravity.

EVERYONE WHO HAS WATCHED DBZ AND NOT READ THE MANGA HAVE NO CLUE HOW STRONG THEY REALLY ARE. In the manga they are MUCH weaker then in the anime. They exaggerate stuff so much.

Manga > anime. Use it every time you back something up. People would laugh at you using anime filler from Naruto to prove a point. Why is DBZ different.

They are much weaker then everyone thinks they are.

Look here, not even in DBZ, this is just around the beginning of DB. This guy destroyed the moon, which is ~1/4 the size of the earth when he had a power level no more than 139. In the Frieza saga, Base Goku was at 3,000,000.
