Well you're entitled to that but I don't think her hair was straight. Even in the picture you showed with her hair normal in the OP it wasn't straight. It's subliminal messages to me.

Well to be fair, afros are terrible hair styles, well I'm not a fan ._. but I can see why people would complain, although hidden messages remind me of the good old nick ;)

How you are not sure?

Is my English bad and/or hard to understand ? (I am asking this to everyone)

Those people were pretty stupid for saying that about Zendaya. I even see people calling people with dreads "thugs".Like how does a hairstyle make you a thug?

It does not but people do not get it partly due to lack of/wrongful representation.

I preferred W.I.T.C.H u.u

I always thought Winx was a cheap rip off of W.I.T.C.H

Why do people care about hair's implication on society so much though? The show wasn't even suggesting afros are ugly. It showed one character upset that her hair wasn't the way she wanted/the way it naturally would be.
And some of you were talking about how the cartoon only portrayed "black" traits such as semi-dark skin and big lips but not wide noses... Okay, that's even more of an assumption. It's just a stereotype. It just isn't true that all black people have wide noses or very naturally curly hair. Would you rather have the darker skinned character be the spitting image of the same stereotype that has been historically used as propaganda? There's just no pleasing people. Someone's going to be upset no matter what a character looks like.

Totally Spies was a superior show in every way.

Exactly. I was literally wtfing at the comments saying black character have wide noses and big lips. Like one of those comments called me racist but said black characters have wide noses and lips...like hmmm way to stereotype:sdo:. They probably never even watched the episode. Like it was about a witch chick who appear to be white. She hated the way she looked. The villians named the trix made her "pretty" to win a contest. All of the contestant was sabotage except Stella. The witch girl won the contest but the trix turn the girl into her normal self and she was kick out of the contest and Stella won.No one cheered up the witch chick and the winx didn't stop the trix. No one wants to talk about the person the episode was able.No one wants to talk about how the problem with the trix wasb't resolved.Instead some people see an irrelevant character who looks black and who is upset about her hair being puffy.Like her hair was more than likely straight. We are talking about a show were character natural hair color is pink or green. And I liked totally spies. It was one of my favorite cartoons. But the only problem I see with hair is some of the people that complains about it.Like attack people because of their hair or something stupid.
