Well I hope it happens either way, I would rather give us some more indpeth backstory to what happen to kaguya before she at the fruit because it's pointless to showcase Kaguya significant change after eaten the fruit that made her fall in the pit of darkness when Hagoromo was questioning about it. So I don't see how in that aspect gives more retcon.

I think obito shouldve just ****ed off after minato sliced his ass with a kunai. Have juubi madara do the shit juubi obito did, except reduce it by around 10 chapters (since we wont need to see the rin flash backs and tnj shit) then bring in kaguya. I belive Obito spent around 40 chapters as the juubi jin, madara had 10, and kaguya also had 10, so this removing the rin and tnj stuff would provide at least a good 30-40 chapters of screen time for both madara and kaguya individually.

well Oda seems like a moron to me, turning buildings into strings? come on...his editors help keep his story from going to shit, he's got the best of the best most likely. Right before the Pain invasion arc Kishimoto got stuck with some guy who right off the bat made him create a pro wrestling ninja because he loved pro-wrestling, aka Killer Bee. So yeah, he kinda had to come up with all good ideas solo without the original editor who helped create the world of Naruto in the 1st place. Shonen Jump bank all their stuff on One Piece and Kishimoto gets stuck with 1 shitty editor who has awful ideas. If Naruto was running at the front of the pack he'd get way more support and would probably have a less awkward ending.
