Apparently Kishimoto really did need to shorten the ending

so he says Shonen Jump had decided what issue Naruto would end and he had to pace things accordingly and he thought he was "done for". Like damn **** you Shonen Jump, wonder what stuff he had to cut out in order to make it all fit and imagine how much pressure was on him wonder how that affected it as well. Read the second picture.

And the fight was pretty sucky. It was cool but not great as it should have been. Sasuke vs Naruto was even more rushed.

Well not according to Kishimoto

How would that be random fillers when it give us some answer that we demanded which was never explain in the manga. These fillers will fills in all the plotholes and cover all the loose ending. Also the Anime studio could easily execute the arc better by giving a Kaguya more dynamic as a character and have some sense of dangerous vibe or including some fillers dialogue if they wanted to.

Because their answers might make even less sense. They run the risk of making the Kaguya arc more ridiculous. And regarding the loose ending.. that's kinda what Naruto Gaiden is for.
