AoT is good but not great

Attack on titan is getting alot of hype lately and some of the hype is deserved. The anime is beautiful, it has enough action and gore. The fear and hopelessness humans are feeling is well portrayed. But this anime/manga as a huge flaw.

The plot and the AnT world are to simple. Humanity is threatened by the titans and human soldiers are fighting back,that is AoT in a nutshell. Because of this huge flaw the mangaka can't push the plot forward and is giving us mystery after mystery and zero answers. After 44 chapters (each chapter has atleast 35 pages) and we still don't know anything about titans, the goverment, religious groups.

How can you say AoT is better than One piece, Naruto, HxH who all have a complex plot and superior world building O_O

It took Naruto over 300 chapters to find out why the hell the Kyubi Attack on Konoha occurred which was covered in Chapter 1.

Chill out the manga and anime are just starting, they is plenty to develop upon, defeating the titans could just be the beginning they still have the rest of the world to explore considering they live within walls, there could probably be some insanely smart titan that has been pulling the strings, or maybe the titans are just the start of something, give it time and you will be proven wrong.

But in those 300 chapters Naruto had finished how many arcs?? AoT has only 1 story line and I as a manga reader know litle more about the titans and a anime only watcher. The mangaka is not giving answers because if he did, his story would be over in 20 chapters.

Compare AoT to Code Geass, Death note, FM ect. But not One Piece, Naruto, HxH

I'm not saying its a bad anime in fact its a good anime. But its has a very simple plot and it doesn't look like it is going to change soon.

I agree with this 100%. I have watched Naruto, Shippuden, Dragonball, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Attack on Titan. That is all the anime I have ever watched. I think AoT is just as good if not better than what I have watched or read. This is just from the begining though. Maybe AoT will get really bad and predictable to where I will hate it, but that is doubtfull.

watched the anime loved it tried reading the manga but after i got so far i think like chapter 13 or 14 forgive me if im wrong i went back and covered what had happened in earlier chapters again forgive if im wrong but after that i think this is one im gonna stick to watching just the anime and not read the manga

I honestly think AOT is popular because its a Gore Shonen, and a decent one at that
There really havent been any pure action based gore anime in a while so with it being a shonen it provides plenty of action that people want.

But i also think its just a fad anime that will die down much like other gore anime such as elfein lied. the story isnt very good and full with plot holes and full of unanswered questions not to mention the anime is censored to all hell.
Although i must say that the anime is really boosting the mangas sells

The manga is great and the anime has top notch animation, its good, but not the best though, so many other anime that are better than AOT, but I'll give credit to AOT for its incredible start, the starting was cool.......and moreover some of the titans look plain hilarious XD .......just as planned
