I...I don't know why, but I just don't like Eren. There is something about him I really dislike which is sad b/c he is the main character and all.
-He never listens to people at, not even reason itself. I feel as if he is caught up in his own little world and sees his own pain to be greater than everyone else's. He ignores the fact that some people may have lost more than he has and thinks his own way most be the right way to save the humanity.
-Ymir is just so much better IMO, level headed and works well with what she has.

But I have a few questions
-Who are Reiner and Bertholdt working for and what is their leaders ultimate goal?
--I feel as if they want to save humanity as well.
--They have more information obviously and could have an amazing plan to save humanity.

Share your thoughts. Sorry if Eren is your Fav, I just had to express how I felt about him

About the qusetion of Reiner and Bertholdt.
We as of yet don't know the origins of the titans or their true purpose. They are probably deeply connected to where the titans came from and why they were created.

OT: Berthold and Reigner are obviously in contact with the ape titan, but show fear upon the mention of his name and are clearly against him. They probably have their own plans to use Eren against the ape and save humanity their own way

Yea the Ape Titan is odd. I thought maybe he was a human in titan form from Reiner's group. But they didn't know what it was ether.

He understands other peoples pain too. Mikasa is one of them so you've been proven wrong, and he never listens to people? What about when he was about to fight Annie for the first time? He listened to his squad members even though he wasn't obligated to do so. Proven wrong again. End thread

I don't know if they all have that power. It seems the Titans treat Titan Shifters as humans.

In Annie's case I think she screamed to attract them all to her position.

All titan-shifters can self destruct calling all titans in the vicinity, but Eren and the ape can actually control them. It also seems that Eren is better at controlling the titans.

I don't agree with what you said about him not listening to people. He listens to people and that even led to his team getting killed by annie. But if you dont like him it nbd.

He really doesn't understand anyone's pain. He knows their pain exists but treats it as something so simple compared to his own. Him claims he wants to fight to save humanity but he clearly only fights for himself and his own issues.

As for listening, he is similar to Superman. Sure he can hear people but only reacts when he sees his comrades fall. For Eren to listen friends must die. Plus adding in the fact he is so stuck on his own thoughts that when someone brings up something logical he won't try to listen ie. Ymir was trying to explain the situation to him.

Also why are you trying to prove things wrong?

Yea I understand that point in time. Which was a major move in his character depth but since then I think he has stopped believing in his teammates which upsets me oddly.

To your questions:

1. Unknown we don't know who they work for. We only know they are part of a village and it seems to be a tribal group.

2. From what we know, they at the very least have some objective that benefits their home. Considering it resulted in the deaths of 20% of wall Maria... It may not entirely benefit humanity unless it is something that will somehow reconvert Titans to people.

3. They easily have more information... Time will tell.

I agree about Eren; however, the new chapter has brought some reason to him. It's basically the first time he's thought of Mikasa as Mikasa his friend as opposed to someone he brushes off. I have some hope for him, but he's far from my favorite.

Remember that fight with annie in the city,it was annie who looked more concerned to save town people's life than eren,that's why she ran in the middle of city to fight. Now I don't think he says they have nothing on his own, but I think its that his anger alludes him from seeing that everyone is in the same boat as him. Mikasa is a battle genius, and Eren ends up resenting that... And I don't think he ends up noticing that he's not the only one who pales in comparison. Similarly... He doesn't notice everyone's had it rough.

I think he's in a tough spot... His Titan Power makes it impossible to judge when to follow orders... I think to a degree it can be gauged. For example, against the Armored it was a good time to switch. Against the female... Don't as they have a trap... They should have had a better distraction system than to die.

But immediately after, use the Titan power to rip out Annie out... Sending him off was a pretty cheap use of him. They knew the Titans eat Shifter Titans.

Shifters can call them as I believe somehow it is registered that they are different and thus their yell is like a giant person which they go for.

(kid is growing up)

I wouldn't say Eren and Mikasa are the only ones who have witnessed the Titans true terror. The whole scouting team has seen the same thing. They have lost the ones they love in the same way.
-Plus Mikasa who experienced the same thing doesn't react the same way. Eren's mom was basically her mom as well at that point.
-I just think there is a better way for Eren to react to certain things
