Kenjutsu is the style of fighting wherein the user battles with swords of varying types. In the narutoverse it can be used in conjunction with other styles of fighting such as taijutsu and ninjutsu in order to increase the lethal capabilities of their sword. More specifically the samurai within the narutoverse rely heavily on sword use in battle and kirigakure shinobi within the anime/manga are known to be exceptional kenjutsu users as well.

Chakra flow's relation with kenjutsu can best be described as a means to go beyond the normal capabilities that a sword has. The best example for this would be the infusion of lightning chakra into a sword, or any weapon for that matter. Due to the lightning chakra's property the cutting capability is increased.

Yes well there is more to it than it looks actually, one for instance is one can utilze chakra flow in a blade and still use it for supplementary purposes like when I use Samurai Sabre I can place my blade under my feet and channel chakra into it which is still chakra flow and create a actual floor of chakra and manipulating it to avoid like Swamp of the Underworld etc etc. But none the less lets get started, what are the types of slashes in which a sword can travel and what is the best way to defend against each one

Ah, interesting ability.
Direction wise? The sword can slash vertically, horizontally, and diagonally, however most people tend to use a diagonal slash from what I've seen. A vertical slash is effective in that it provides an exceptional amount of force if brought high enough. It can be counter easily by side stepping however, as the slash travels in one linear path on the y axis. The horizontal slash is quick and can be used in situations where one would want to slash in a wide range around themselves. It can be countered by simply bending the knees and ducking or if the slash is too low to duck by planting one's sword in the ground to either their right or left in order to stop the slash from being completed. Diagonal slashes are the most versatile in that they travel along the z axis giving room for more situations where on would need to use it. It can be countered if timed right with a horizontal slash or a diagonal slash following the same path that the opponent's sword is following. Hopefully I was somewhere in the ball park with all of that. ._.

(Ken Rendan no Jutsu) - Sword Barrage Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: With this technique, the user will make a sequence of slashes with their sword and finishes with a powerful final slash dealing liberal damage to their enemy.
Yeah nice anwser, now for the first technique in the list. Its a pretty simplistic technique that is done by simply doing a fast squence of slashes and finishing with a deadly blow, but a gimmick to the technique is that it didnt specifically give a amount of times you can slash so you can do a assualt of 16,23 or more with this technique alone, but be mindful you need to be very descriptive if you intend on doing a long combo. Now in my session i expect questions so please if you have any dont be afraid to ask and as well tell me for each technique how you can see it being used in battle

*Turning towards the clone that you had created I begin by charging raw chakra into my feet in order to increase my running speed slightly. After I've done this I then begin to run towards your clone with my right hand on the grip of my sword ready to unsheathe at the appropriate time, and as I enter it's short range quickly plant my left leg onto the ground and unsheathe my sword in a diagonal slash starting from the bottom left portion of the clone's middle torso up to the top right side of the chest area. I then quickly flick my wrist right in order to change the position of the weapon, with my left foot still forward I bring my right foot up, still with raw chakra concentrated within it and slam it on the clone's left foot, the sudden surge of pain would instinctively divert the clone's attention towards the ground, even if only for a second. I take advantage of this by then attempting to deliver one final horizontal slash along the clone's chest area from right to left.*

When describing any technique in general would you say that describing the lefts and rights from your perspective is easier to understand or from the opponent's perspective? For example in my description I described the position of the first diagonal slash starting from the left to the top right of the clone's chest but from the clone's perspective it would be starting from it's right side to the top of it's left side.

I would honestly say both as it will allow the opponent get a clearer picture on your intention of your attack to count rahter than coming to you and asking where are you attacking. Anything else?

(Ikari Nomikomu no Jutsu) - Fury Swallow Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: The user punches the opponent a few times and finishes them with two final slashes with their blade or sword.
The next technique is almost the same concept of the first one to be honest, but now mixing in abit of taijutsu with the punches. The adavantages is pretty much the same as the first one

*After gathering raw chakra into my feet I charge towards the clone and once entering it's short range, attempt to deliver a right punch onto the target's left rib cage area, or my right. I then quickly deliver a left hook towards the clone's right jaw, and as the punch connects my right hand has already grabbed the hilt of my sword. I then unsheathe the sword quickly, performing two sequential diagonal slashes, the first beginning from the lower torso up towards the top right of the chest area, followed by another vertical slash after changing my wrist's position beginning from the clone's left shoulder down towards the lower torso*

No questions here.

( Enjin Ranbu ) - Circular Wild Dance
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 25
Description: The user spins with his tantō, hitting the target several times.
Another pretty basic technique, but with a move like Samurai Sabre or something similar, you can use this to cut through techniques like solid earth and water technqiues.Only thing bad is that you got to use it with a tanto

*After acquiring a tanto in order to perform the technique I charge chakra into my soles and charge towards the target. As I begin to enter it's short range with the tanto already unsheathed and in my right hand I begin to spin my entire body in a counterclockwise direction several times with my right arm extended in front of me and my left arm bent, grasping the middle of my right arm for stability. With every spin completing it's apex the clone is slashed at around the upper torso multiple times.*

So what you're saying is that if, in an official NW battle my opponent uses this technique without a short-sword, it'd be an invalid move? Not that I'd really call them out on something that small but just for the sake of knowing.

( Rakkasui ) - Falling Water
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 25
Description: The user will drop down upon the opponent from mid air pointing their sword downwards and drilling it down into the opponent.
Just another simple technique, but its a very nice one to end a combo off with for example if your using a Saskue bio and use Lions Barrage, as your about to do the final part of after the air assualt, all you gotta do his use Suber Vibrating Technique to increase the damage of this move and make it more fatal

*I start off by gathering raw chakra into my feet and begin to dash towards the clone. As I enter it's short range I perform a right kick that sends the clone flying into the air. I then jump above as the clone is still rising and after ascending past it, proceed to unsheathe my sword, point it downwards towards the target's chest area while grasping the hilt with both hands and plunge the weapon into the clone driving the both of us down into the ground.*

No questions, pretty straight forward technique.

Good show ole boy! Now on to the B-Ranks!
(Bakuchi Tori Kuzu Oujou) – Gambling Bird Arrowroot Death
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user bolts in front of the enemy who they then strike with their sword handle before delivering several kicks that sends the enemy into the air. The user then bolts across to the far off location of the enemy who they then punch violently into an obstacle.

Well this move is pretty....slow if you ask me but its an effective one with proper timing. Lets say your opponent and you are currently in a freeform stand still, and none of you can seem to get passed each other, the first thing you can do is simply, rather than bolting, parry there attack, causing them to be unbalanced, then procede to knock them with the handle of the sword, etctec of the technique. In the world of Kenjutsu, you dont have to use the move according to the description, you can alternate in between them and dont have to use up too much moves ;3
