The raiton jutsu isnt enough, although it's raiton, it's a rasengan, a jutsu very similar to chidori. Since you didnt move, the chidori would do a cut on the tornado, but while it's spining, the earth you broke would continue spinning around you until it crushes you. What you could have done was using that jutsu and jump in the tornados direction to open a fissure on it and pass trough. And like hasashi said, if you didnt move, you wouldnt reach the tornado. Even if that work the earth that would fall on the ground would activate teh mines and make them suddently explode =/.
Your body explodes and your internal organs are spread trough the field, you're dead.
AND read the description of your wind jutsu, as soon as you use intense pain you turn the vortez in a spinning vortex of fire+wind which burns you to dead, so you died like 3 different ways with a single move.
