In order to do missions you have to win a certain number of times as the character involved in the mission. Like to get curse seal Sasuke you have to win 25 battles or something AND beat a team that has Naruto in it a certain number of times.

In order to rank up you need to play ladder matches.

I use to play it awhile back and than started again but it's so much more harder to find people using certain characters for missions
