Unfortunately, I looked at the Naruto discussion section before reading the chapter, so I already knew it was a genjutsu. Lol. Anyways, who the hell thought Sakura was going to die? She's in the upcoming movie after all........

I was definitely shocked to an insane degree. Sakura is a main character after all (despite how unsuited I think she is for that role) Then I though "Oh wait, Sasuke's just doing that to buy some time via her regeneration." Then looked at the panel where "it's a genjutsu". I actually wish he did actually stab her. It would really add to Sasuke's ruthlessness.

Actually, I had a theory about this, it seems that Sasuke lately really does want things to go back to how they were, but at the same time wants to move forward with his revolution.
This latest chapter nearly confirms it because
1.) It seems he was holding back a smile when he initiated the genjutsu

2.) He actually used genjutsu on her instead of just killing her

But this chapter also confirms that they had more than 1 fight at VOTE
