People thinking that Kage are pushovers?

People say stupid things like Tobirama vs Kisame is obviously a Kisame win.

Kages aren't just chosen because they're convenient, but because they're recognised for their prowress.

Some people seem to think they know better than Kishimoto/Manga. Tobirama hasn't had enough limelight time to tell but characters have made statements about his Suiton prowress until proved otherwise.

Does anyone else find this sort of thing going on?

Well, you need to understand that many shinobi have what it takes to be a Kage and some even surpass the level of an usual kage-level shinobi. Take Madara for instance, he's not a kage, yet he shits on all kage except Hashirama.

What has Tobirama done that can put Kisame down for the count? Just because you are a kage doesn't mean you are invincible. Kages can be beaten by other kage level ninjas who may not be kages themselves.

Going by feat{what they have shown} kisame would defeat tobirama. But w/ hype i believe tobirama is stronger and the position of a kage is overated, even kakashi w/o kamui was considered one and kisame is stronger than most kages

I think kages are over rated. They are not made kages simply cause of power. They are also cause because of administrating capabilities.

Tobirama being powerful enough to be termed as a hokage for Konoha; what does that have anything to do with Kisame who is not even remotely related to this village? So your logic about 'hokages are made for a reason' logic even applies here, when one is not even a contender for this position given his background?

tailed beast are push overs, kisame soloed the 4 tails, 3 tails got fodderised by deidara, two tails did nothing commendable, the rest kishi couldn't even be arsed to explain. Killer bee got beat be ametarasu after the hype of transforming. for me I think nothing should really affect them, in naruto the bigger they are the easier they fall much easier.

I am, but there's a reason for it; they're all dead and never truly got to show there skill.
Like Tobirama, people think he's weak for the most part because of the (unspecified) way he died, and his element. And then, they seem to forget he probably had more skills than that, he was the hokage. That also meant he was the most powerful in his land at the time, with the exception of Kushina since she was in the Leaf while he was Hokage.
