It takes a man to make a man so it's no wonder he has a daughter.
But Minato got a son... oh wait.

Well the Uchiha named can't be carried on with through Princess Sarada. Naruto was a rare case, had Minato and Kushina never died that day Naruto would probably inherited his father's surname.
What's in a name? The bloodline will carry just as well as with a son.
He said if Naruto had a third child then he will give him byakugan but dat will make things more complicated
If he looked like a male version of Sakura. What would your reaction be?
You seem to really hate Sakura.
Is it a crime?
Nope. But if you feel the need to mention her every chance you get, it sorta comes to look like blind character bashing.
I was dissapointed he didn't have a son aswell, but think of it this way.Now we can see a badass Uchiha female/a badass Uchiha female kicking the main characters ass,and Bolt won't have a Kyuubi to save him.
Personally, I can say I'd prefer if he had a son. The reason being Kishi tends to be better at writing male characters. Also, the fact that the rivalry would be more natural (if there is one, and there should be a rivalry since, it's a way of motivation etc.) if the rivals were of the same gender.
Why would that be more natural? Why do rivals have to be of the same gender? Also, it doesn't matter if he's better at writing males because he's not writing anymore about their children.
It's obvious. By natural, I was reffering to it being less awkward. For one, people would perceive a situation wrongly, and possibly say it's romantic and pairings could be made while, the actual intent was to just have a rivalry. And, it being of the same gender makes is in fact more "humanly", so our instincts. An example of this, is that animals of the same gender, tend to fight more, then animals of the opposite gender. Whether it be for dominance, mating etc...
And as for the children thing, he might of made the male to have been constructed in a more pleasing manner. Sarada was caught stalking, at that place, something else could have possibly happened.
Edit: It would also continue the cycle of the current top rivalries, such as Hashirama and Madara, then, Naruto and Sasuke, etc...
People ship Naruto and Sasuke too though. This is just pure heteronormativity. And humans don't have the same behavioral patterns as all "animals," as you vaguely put it. Rivalries in modern society aren't purely male and male or female and female. My "rival," or the person I competed with a lot growing up was in fact a guy. What you are saying makes no sense as it isn't true of human nature.
Well, most people who pair the both are kidding, so...And this isn't heteronormativity, it's just that you don't assume someone is homosexual, you assume their hetero, until given otherwise proof or thoughts.
And, I did not say all animals, I just said animals. Which, could mean in the majority. And as for the animal point, we still have similarities and we have a majority of the fundamental traits
It's just instinct for someone to be attracted to the opposite gender (even though, there's people who are different), and that main common interest, brings in competitive behaviors among them. Also, I am not saying that it isn't okay, for two people of opposite gender to be rivals, it's fine. But in some certain circumstances, it's not as sociably acceptable, because you might do something which is okay to do with the same gender, but not okay of the opposite.
Bold: What? ._.No, there are a lot of people who ship them just as seriously as someone might ship Naruto and Hinata. They aren't kidding. Also, I wouldn't assume someone is straight, but idk, that might just be cause half of my friends are LGBTQ.
