Anybody calling his dad "SIR" ?? and do you wear shoes in your house ?

I was actually wondering about this a while now, in every movie i saw people never take their shoes of in the house, they even sleep in them, and a lot of people call their parents Mam and Sir ?

I don't wear shoes inside not because it's ethic or it's a rule in my society, simply because it's more comfy... specially I when wore stilettos all day...

lol its the opposite here, if i take my shoes off, my mom would kill me.
so yah i wear my shoes almost 24/7 i take them off at bed time and at/in the bathroom since i use bathroom flip-flops(obviously)
and no i dont call me dad sir

Never wear my shoes unless im at school or at the store

and only call my parents ma'm or sir when im mad at them

I forget to take out shoes when I'm at home I don't know why. Since I wear them all day, you get accustomed.

But calling dad Sir? I mean a loving parent wouldn't like that much formality from a son unless he's royalty.
