Hey guys, first off I would like to apologize in advanced if this is posted in the wrong place. I chose General Discussion instead of Fan fiction because this post itself is not a fan faction. But more of a question about one that I myself have been working on for a long time. About 2 years now. Even cooler, its not just a fan fiction about Naruto, but a Web Comic as well! I call it "Not Naruto"
It takes place some 200 years after the end of Naruto Shippuden. (IE. Future wise, So no actual characters from Naruto or Naruto Shippuden) The main character is a young girl named Katsumi Sarutobi. I don't want to delve much into the story line here though. As I said this post is about something other than the plot. After 2 years of working on plot, characters, drawings and what not. I finally have the 1st chapter "done"
I've shown a hard copy to a lot of my friends, and talked with them in detail about where I want to take the story line. And the common consensus so far is that, even though its sort of short, they all enjoy it. (Not including cover page and last page its a total of 12 pgs.) I am diligently working on the chapters to follow. However I would like a way to build up some hype and get some general feed back from people other than my friends. (who are biased in my favor probably)
That's where you come in NarutoBase! I love you guys so much. I read the manga on here whenever it is out, and I read threads and post whenever my hectic schedule allows me too. This site rocks. I tell all my friends about it. I sorta feel like you guys are my other other family lol. So I was hoping you guys might be willing to come to my aide as families often do. I really want some feed back sometime before I am ready to start releasing the chapters regularly. So I want to put the first chapter up on here.
But here is the problem. I don't know when would be the best time to put it up, or if anyone would actually be interested in reading it. It's not bad. I'm not an extraordinary artist when it comes to drawing (Music is my Real ART) so, I'm really not too concerned with peoples opinions on the art. I know it is neither amazing nor Terrible. But Really just how it flows, if its fun, if its interesting at all. I just want some general Opinions. Truthful Opinions. This is really just a hobby I decided on since I needed one after my daughter was born.
But I really need to know if this is a good idea or if I'll get 3 comments and it will die out immediately behind other threads?
If you guys have any advice or anything, that would be tight. I would be more then welcoming of it. And also I'm sorry if this was super long. But props to everyone who reads it all the way through.
