There isnt much that anyone really knows about him except that he was the chief of the rain village before and during the civil war before Pain/Nagato killed him.
Nagato killed him, his family, his friends and their familys, and all his clients pretty much anyone that had anything to do with him
It is becuase of him that Yahiko died, Hanzo and Danzo teamed up to take down Yahikos and nagatos little gang
He rides a salamander presumably a summon and he took on all three sannin and pretty much wiped the floor with them

I think he is still alive because it the manga against pain he used the body flicker justu so he may be still alive (UCHIHA ITACHI said "at the end everything will be reaveald" )so i think there is more to go.
